Once the police get involved, they interview Will, as do Jered's family. If they could find the car, they could tell from the speedometer how many miles were put on it from the time the car was rented and that would confirm whether the car ended up in Carson City. Is there a chance that Jered could have powered off his own phones s so not to disclose his location? It's possible, but he was still a good distance out from where he was heading. People have talked a lot about there being a stretch of approximately an hour that Jered would not have had cell service, but he was past that area when his phones were manually powered off. The text was also not read when the phone was turned on in Carson City, meaning whoever turned the phone on was probably not Jered. Jered sent a text to Jay at 2:04 p.m., and Jay responded at roughly 2:30 p.m., but Jered never opened that text. An important note for timing: Jered was last texting with Jay during his trip when he had cell service. The car that Jered rented did not have GPS, which is odd in this day and age. His cell was turned on again in Carson City, NV and it is believed that someone other than Jered drove the car to Carson City and disposed of both the car and both of Jered's phones. Jered's phone is manually powered off around Doyle, CA. Jered rented a car in Redding, Calfornia on June 19, 2020, and was on his way to meet Will and Cory at that warehouse in Carson City, NV.

It's not clear what cut Will, Corey or Jered were getting out of the transaction.

It is not clear who out of the group would benefit once the product was sold. Once Jay had the marijuana, he would ship the marijuana back to Jay in Pennsylvania in the same crates the money was sent it. Once counted, Jered was then to drive the money back to Redding, buy the product with his suppliers in the Redding area and then Will would drive to Redding and collect the marijuana. 400K in crates apparently took up a lot of room and they needed a place to keep it.

The money was shipped in crates and they needed a place where the money could be held until Jered showed up to count it to ensure that none of the 400K was missing since being in Will's possession. Jered was the middle man or broker between Jay in Pennsylvania and Will in Carson City, NV. I haven't added a lot of details because they are noted elsewhere, I'm just trying to get a handle on what happened in this twisted story. Please fill in the blanks or correct any misinformation I've noted. I watched the Jason Hebert video, so now I understand Jered's involvement in this tragedy - it's confusing and most of the replies on the video talked about being confused. Sharpe said she hired a private investigator who identified William Adrian Larsen and another man as the people that Stefansky was supposed to meet. In the video, Stefansky's mother said her son left Redding in June to drive to a $400,000 marijuana transaction in Carson City, Nevada, and never arrived or had been seen since. In September, the cannabis blog 420 Magazine published a YouTube interview with Sheila Sharpe, the mother of missing Redding, California, man Jered Stefansky. of marijuana and about 1,200 vape cartridges filled with a liquid containing THC. In 2018, police charged the couple with possessing and intending to deliver 84 lbs. Officials are asking anyone with information to call the Mono County Sheriff’s Office at (760) 932-7549. Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Sarah Roberts could not confirm whether the couple had been killed by the side of the highway or if their bodies had been dumped there, but she said she was “pretty positive” the deaths had occurred where the pair were found.

“The crime appears to be specific and targeted, and there is no threat to the community of Bridgeport.” ”The man and woman had been murdered,” the Mono County Sheriff's Office said Thursday in a press release.
